Sitemaps

• Index: https://artlove365.com/sitemap.xml (listed in robots.txt).
• Files: /sitemaps/static.xml and /sitemaps/{type}-{chunk}-{locale}.xml, with type one of artworks, artists, museums, movements, subjects, genres.
• Size: 5,000 entities per chunk, one locale per file → 5,000 <url> per file, each listing all 6 hreflang alternates + x-default. Well under Google's 50,000-URL / 50 MB limits.
• Order is stable (by row id), so a page never moves between files and lastmod stays meaningful (updated_at, else published_at).
• Only indexable URLs are listed: published artworks, artists with ≥ 1 published work, browse pages with ≥ 3 works.
• Data comes from GET /v1/seo/sitemaps (counts) and GET /v1/seo/sitemaps/{type}/{chunk} (paths); the web worker renders the XML and caches it for 1 hour.

At full catalog: 276,775 artworks → 56 chunks × 6 locales = 336 artwork files; ≈ 370 files in total.

Submitting

• Google Search Console: verify the artlove365.com domain (DNS TXT record in Cloudflare), then submit https://artlove365.com/sitemap.xml once. Roadmap F-SEO-01.
• Bing Webmaster Tools: import from Search Console. New URLs also reach Bing daily via IndexNow (key file served at /{INDEXNOW_KEY}.txt).
